Description

HPV testing can be done in conjuction with a PAP smear.
A negative result means that no high-risk HPV strains were found, and the risk of cervical cancer is low.
A positive result indicates the presence of high-risk HPV, but it does not mean you have cervical cancer- only that further testing is required at your GP.
